Welcome to the web site of the Central Pennsylvania Pastel Society.
Formed in late 2004, our society represents artists in the central Pennyslvania
region who are interested in the medium of soft pastel. Throughout the year
we organize exhibitions, offer member meetings to share work and ideas,
organize plein air painting opportunities, and
promote artistic development for our members. We invite you to browse our web

Current HighlightsAugust 2-6, 2010 Greg Biolchini, PSA Master will conduct a five day workshop for the Central Pennsylvania Pastel Society. Three days will be devoted to still life painting and two days will be spent on figure painting with a clothed model. September 2010 LR Kimball: Show at Innovation Park (Drop-off date September 7th, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.) September 10-11, 2010 International Plein Air Paint Out Way Fruit Farm off of Rt. 550. Register with Laura Winn Kane before September 3 if you plan to attend this event. October/November 2010 State College Frame Shop Fall CPPS Show. Painting drop off Tuesday, October 6th from 10 am - 8 pm, and pick up on November 8 from 10 am - 8 pm.
